Background - The first World of Dogs & Cats Exhibition was held in Durban in 1996 at the Durban Exhibition Centre and in 2003 we took the show to The Dome in Johannesburg where it has been a resounding sucess. 2007 will bring many more special competitions for pet lovers to enter, enjoy, win prizes and join-in as an integral part of the show in aid of animal welfare. All the well-known and well-loved events will still be there to delight you. 2006 saw the introduction of our third arena for demonstrations and displays which proved very popular - the dancing with dogs competitions and displays, took place throughout the weekend and had audiences absolutely enthralled with their dazzling performances. Plans are already well underway for next years event and visitors can look forward to loads of exciting entertainment. New layout, displays, info and competitions will delight new and returning visitors to the show. Each breed has its own personal characteristics and experts on the various breeds are on hand to give good advice to potential owners. Visitors will find all the help they need to choose the right pet for their family circumstances. The welfare stands will have their own area to enable them to promote the great work that they do. But there is more for the visitor to enjoy and learn from...
